Gypsies Gypsies Gypsies

So for character design I had to come up with a character to reproduce in three different styles. I was thoroughly stumped and frustrated at first but quickly got some inspiration and threw this together. The three styles from left to right are marker and ink, with a Ralph Steadman feel. The next is my own, in a digital format. Third is based on Yoshitaka Amano's style. I didn't have watercolor on hand so I used gouache, I was happy with it.

Final Character Design Assignment, take a bunch of my life drawings and put a character if my own creation in those poses. I chose the good Doctor here, I imagine him sounding akin to Rictofen from Nazi Zombies. Also threw in two animations of a rotation, one on twos, one on threes..

Character design assignment. Mould a couple character heads, draw em in wicked lit tonals, take pictures. Turned out pretty solid minus the fact my photography skills and measuring light are comparable to that of a godamn neanderthal :S
